Storage
Keep fans in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture to prevent fading or damage.

Maintenance
Regularly inspect wiring and attachments for signs of wear. Tighten bolts as needed using the provided wrenches—one to hold the bolt, one to tighten the nut. Replace worn parts promptly.

Usage
Use staves only as designed. Avoid bending or forcing them. Ensure feathers are securely attached and check them periodically.

Transport
Carry staves and fans in protective cases to prevent travel damage.

Adjustability
Fans can be used with the nut slightly loose for more movement, or fully tightened to limit shifting.

Cleaning & Caring for Ostrich Feathers

Dust Removal
Gently dust with a soft brush or use a hairdryer on a cool, low setting. A can of compressed air also works for light dusting.

Re-Fluffing
Steam feathers carefully using a fabric steamer. Stop once feathers fluff up—don’t over-steam or hold too close.
If feathers get damp, dry with a blow dryer on low heat at a safe distance.
